Bringing the Six Characters to Life

Thank you, people of Moray, for providing invaluable input into co-creating the six characters so far chosen to help tell Moray’s story.

Our attention then turned to how each character might have appeared. It was obvious to us that local people should represent the local stories. And if we could, we wanted local people to help create the images themselves.

Through social media, the team put out a call to get involved in the creation of imagery for the characters. The social media posts had really big reach - over 7,000 people saw the invitation. We had a great response, and thank you to everyone who shared the post or got involved more directly.

On the 23rd February 2019 at St Giles Shopping Centre in Elgin, we ran the shoot. On this page you’ll find a video diary that we put together of the day, along with the resulting images.
